  1. Though I also hated Bruno and Mammoth, I’m surprised you disliked Tetro so much. It sort of snuck up on me midway through watching it and I was hooked. Though I wouldn’t call it one of the best of 09, I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

  2. hmmm, just now noticed this comment, need to change some settings in WordPress…

    I was surprised at how much I disliked this film, too, but the entire thing felt, amateurish, hollow, and naive to me, so much so during the first 2/3 of it that I may have swatted away any merits that were revealed in the final 1/3. (Un?)Fortunately, I don’t think I’ll be revisiting it to find out.
